The Girl Rose is a blog created for women, by a woman. The mission of this blog is to empower, encourage, and uplift women to thrive in the many roles they play in life.

This space is dedicated to motivating women (and the author, Rose Leshaba) to pour back into themselves. The title The Girl Rose carries a dual meaning:

• Rose is the author’s name, of course.
• But “rose” is also the past tense of “rise.”

Why the double meaning? It’s not only a clever wordplay, but it also reflects the truth that while it is important to work on oneself every day, it’s equally crucial to see oneself the way God sees us: chosen, loved, and made perfect through the blood of Jesus.

Because Christ loved and sacrificed for us, we ROSE.

We rose above the challenges and struggles we face daily. This blog is all about empowering women to rise, embrace their true selves, and conquer life’s obstacles through faith and the wisdom of God’s word.
